It is a must if you want any decent results out of a pump for white glue

You might get a couple uses out of others but one day you will go to use it and find your pump seized up with dry glue inside and it is now garbage

This does the job its supposed to do its just a little annoying because it makes the jug too tall to fit in any of my cabinets and cleaning the pump is messy and not very easy

The problem is after you take it apart and clean it once the suction flaps in the bottom and top of the pump get misaligned so it wont suction quite right when you put it back together

The solution i found for this is to put it in a bucket of water or your gallon of glue and when you pump it if nothing happens after 10 pumps put your thumb over the top tip to create suction as the pump is going up and then release as you press the pump down after another 10 tries this should get it to realign and have enough suction to actually work

Only two complaints 1 these things are way over priced 2 if you dont press straight down the plastic tube wants to bend and it doesnt seem like it would hold up to too much of that

This pump did not come with a cap to seal the opening so when pump is not actively being used you can close the pump
