Previously when i have received pc laptops there has been a bit of a painful process to getting the laptop prepped usually involving removing undesired software

The auto time sync seemed confused and the clock was set back to a date in 2015

Setting the time to the current time and a reboot fixed that issue

On my other computers there are times albeit rarely that the screen on a movie slows down or the audio cuts out for a second
