We like seeing the numbers at the brightest setting, but it does have three others. As the pressure ramps up, it gets even more so. The lowest brightness setting at night is great.

The crickets and seagulls are nice back ground noise. I prefer the radio and it gradually gets louder as the alarm goes off very cool. Bipap machine uses two pressures to force breathing and prevent sleep apnea events.

Best feature is automatic setting of time, month, date and year---straight out of the box or after power outages. Date & time sets itself based on your time zone. I love that it sets the time, even taking into consideration daylight saving time.

If you don't turn it off fast it quickly progresses to a blaring radio. Starts my day off poorly. The volume on white noise even on the lowest is too loud.

This product has several flaws, which is disappointing. The display died less than two weeks after i got it. Defective out of the box? No clock, no sounds, nothing. The radio tuner is very poor.
