The construction feels ok, maybe not quite as sturdy as the name brand kettles. It's a nice solid kettle that's not too heavy and the handle has a nice feel to it, fitting comfortably in the hand. Very sturdy, easy to wipe down and easy to clean.

The color is much more muted and subdued than it appears in the picture. The whistle isn't very loud which might be a modest benefit since the sound is shrill and unpleasant.

She really enjoys the features that this kettle has to offer with the way the lid lock will stay open & closed with the click of a button.
Packaging/appearance
The max fill is boldly marked on the outside of the kettle.
It would help to fill and empty the kettle.

A magnet doesn’t hold to the bottom so i doubt induction will work
