Pros & Cons
Pros
This is one of the newest models and they have definitely made improvements. It is easier to install in older gang electrical boxes due to the new slimmer design. They also seem to withstand power fluctuations better also.
Cons
The manufacturer sells this exact item under different model numbers. This kind of deception maddens and exhausts me. It causes my phillips leds to flicker so bad that the combo is unusable. They do a nice fade in and out when you turn them on however... Read More
Highlights
Quality
Easy to install, works great with my edison style dimmable led bulbs, no flickering whatsoever.
This is one of the newest models and they have definitely made improvements.
The load and othe rtraveler (if they're in the box) get connected to each-other to peeo the power going when the circuit is complete.
The dimming quality of kasa is no match to ge dimmer.
Packaging/appearance
All you need on this box is the red traveler, ground, and the neutral line.
In one installation i needed to run a separate neutral when the box didn't have one.
First it's a bit too wide for a multi gang box.
Competitiveness
In comparison, our leviton with add-on runs warm/hot and needs to be re-added to our network every month or two.
Also, in my opinion, ge dimmers are best looking as it looks like a normal rocker switch.
