This is a must have if you are installing ge smart switches and have any 3 or 4 way switches to install. The written instructions are so in, including the 3 way add-on product. No issues at all with ge switches.
Cons
Says zigbee/zwave compatible, however to be compatible it requires another component, it's like selling a wifi computer that needs a wifi card. Instructions are incomplete and there is no amazon returns.

The install was a bit more complicated than the ge enbrighten zwave plus smart light switch with quickfit and simplewire 3way switch because it requires you to connect wires that arent connected to the switch itself

I believe it is a momentary contact switch that triggers when the switch is thrown sending a signal back to the parent switch so a standard switch will not replace its functionality
