I have it plugged into an outlet at the back of our basement home theater and normal overhead lights do not turn off the device

So if you want a device where you can adjust the light sensitivity or the room doesnt get alot of natural sunlight be aware this led light might be on almost continuously

The light is small unobtrusive and hard to catch anything on

I agree that these nightlights used to last for years and the latest ones sometimes didnt work right out of the package
