Pros
The color of the light that it emits is perfect. It has two levels of brightness and is fairly easy to install. I feel it is a much improved work space not having harsh direct lighting.
Cons
This unit is both flawed in design and suffers from typical low quality chinese manufacturing by or for ge's licensee. It is impossible to direct wire it, except using an extra junction box (how direct is that?
The dimming switch stops working and the light only operates at a single brightness--the dim mode. The modular plug system configuration is a deal breaker for me.

The product arrived intact and works well.
Its a good product as it has 2 brightnesses and easy to install.
The product does not say ge anywhere.
The product does not have motion detection nor is it advertised that way.
Competitiveness
I like this light a lot, much better than the 18-inch fluorescent i had before.

But beware that while the 24” fits perfect under a 24” cabinet the 36” does not fit under a 36” cabinet

I hard wired a set of 3 and a 4th one was plugged into an outlet
