Pros
The quality of light is phenomenal for kitchen work. Highly recommend for under cabinet lighting.
Something about things happening in the dark, boogeyman, etc. The color of the light that it emits is perfect. It has 2 different brightness settings.
Installation is fine. Used double-sided tape to hold the cords in place. The 2 mounting screws were not included but easily supplied so no problem. I currently have it mounted with velcro.

Cons
The decision to change the modular plug system configuration is a deal breaker for me. The dimming switch stops working and the light only operates at a single brightness.
This unit is both flawed in design and suffers from typical low quality chinese manufacturing by or for ge's licensee. I see that a few other people have similar complaints about its short lifespan.

Competitiveness
I like this light a lot, much better than the 18-inch fluorescent i had before.
These are excellent for anyone trying to add some lighting to the kitchen without breaking the bank of hardwiring.
You need to buy a extra box to hardwire these.
Other suppliers have a better price but they are always sold out yogi.

But beware that while the 24” fits perfect under a 24” cabinet the 36” does not fit under a 36” cabinet

The only reason im giving it four stars is because the seller description claims that the items come with screws anchors and double sided tape for various installation needs – however they only come with screws and nothing else mentioned
