Pros

The app is easy to setup and use. The app includes a few preset modes but allows you to create your own. This connected version gives far more control and options, including multiple pre-set designs and the ability to customize extensively.

These are leds with a bulb shaped diffuser. For the price one cannot really complain especially for the quality. I believe these use rgbw chips as the white light does not appear to be a rgb combination but a dedicated phosphor.

Shipping

I'd preferred if it shipped with clips for the wire so the bulbs could be hung at the bottom of wire dips, just for aesthetic reasons.

Competitiveness

I prefer this over the dedicated remote controls that get displaced or mixed up with other/similar remotes.
