I cant really speak to the strength of the adhesive since the way i used the clips means that they just need to be held in place

I tried to space them just one every 2 feet but have had to use 50 more than expected as some just give out right away

The only thing that plagues these clips all around is lack of removeability—the gunk will stay on the surface unless you use something like goo gone lighter fluid or something similar to remove the stickiness
