Pros

This is very convenient and i am taking it with me when travelling. It keeps lint and sawdust (hobbyist woodworker) out of my charging port. It does collect some * stuff between them if you leave it unconnected for a period of time.

The 9-pin cable is a well made addition to my growing collection of usb cables. One end has a fixed usb-c connector and the other has a swiveling magnetic connector which will attach to any of the three provided nibs. It comes with a micro-usb,usb, an...  Read More

Magnets are strong, enough to hold up my phone when swayed around a little. Port adapters all work as intended. The magnet is also great and makes attaching to the end very easy.

The swivel movement didn't seem to affect charging or my iphone data back up while moving it through its motions.

Competitiveness

Which is pretty annoying since i can only use the included cable and adapter and if i want more cables/adapters, i can only buy...  Read More

Otherwise, there were no differences between the two brands, and in fact, the connection points are 100% compatible.

To be honest, this cable seems to have a slightly stronger magnetic connection than my previous brand.
