This digital control works better than i expected!
In addition to being unsafe (the load is always hot, even with the switch off), this type of timer can't work in a circuit wired this way.
The neutral wire cannot be wired to allow its flow to be interrupted, broken, for that reason, the white wire is never wired to a switch.
Price
It costs almost three times as much as this timer however.
It's more costly, but looks a lot neater.

Today i received an email from the amazon seller with the correct instructions.
Packaging/appearance
There were 5 cables coming into or going from the box.
I had plenty of room for the 3 oversized switches in the box and neatly folded the wires to the back of the box.

There was also an excellent price relative to others that i'm sure are little different, if at all.

As others have said these can be a bit confusing to configure

They are large in size so you will need to be installing in a gang box that has enough space

Also youll need both a neutral and ground wire present to wire correctly

As far as cons go the plastic door that covers the front of the switch is very flimsy and i could see this being easily broken off in a high or rough use environment

One has to be mindfully careful when opening and closing this door flap

Also it would be nice if the backlight would illuminate if any function button is pressed

As it is the backlight will only illuminate when configuringprogramming the unit

And lastly but most frustratingly the daylight savings time function only sets the units set time back an hour
