Pros

The pins are crimped beautifully. Even though crimping a terminal is 3 steps, it actually saves you time because with a bit of care, every crimp is good.

Used these crimpers on kk and jst series terminals. I assemble jst-zh connectors with it and it is agile enough to crimp these extremely small connectors solidly. If you crimp any jst sm or molex, then this is the tool for you.

Cons

It does a fairly poor poor job at the latter, on jst pins. Too much time and poorly crimped pins wasted to get a few cables built. Then they tell you there may be a restocking charge.

I liked the price, the precision and the ease of use.

Packaging/appearance

Not to mention you cannot replace the jaw(or the tip).

One thing i did not like at first is the crimper lock.

Competitiveness

Well made and versatile if you don't need a crimper optimized for speed and a single type of crimp.

I've had a few pairs of crimpers, and this by far exceeds all of them.

I know it sounds silly to rave about a crimper but i would dread wiring because of crimping.

I have to admit, i questioned buying a $64 pair of crimpers, especially after they arrived.
