First, this is not a ratcheting type crimper tool.
Had two other crimpers (one ratcheting, one not) with dies for open-barrel terminals.
This is about as good as it gets unless you buy a dedicated crimper for two to ten times as much.

Change to a different crimp connector and you may not get a good crimp

Again with the pad13 you get manual control of the crimp size and pressure but you tradeoff the speed and convenience of a ratcheting crimp tool
