Pros & Cons
Pros
They work as intended with getting rid of the hard ‘clack’. The click is intended to give audible feedback when the * registers.
It helps a lot with shortening the travel time down and reducing hand fatigue. It's strange, but i digress.
Doubling up helped a ton with the sound muffling on my orbweaver compared to 1. I have a yeti microphone for recording and it picks up every little thing. If you lube they key switches too, it become extremely quiet.
Key puller is sturdy, but not so tough it will easily scratch keycaps. I also have the anne pro 2 and key travel on that board is endgame to me.
Cons
You have to hit them so hard to get the keystroke to register that it cancels out any sound dampening that they would have. Only 50% or less of my keystrokes even register unless i am hammering on they keyboard. The result of applying these o-rings is... Read More
Highlights
Quality
I am very happy with this purchase.
I went with the firm o rings and am glad i did, no mushy feeling just reduced the stroke.
**advice with the orbweaver: use 2 rings on all of the keys.
This product works well on it's own but if you lube they key switches too, it become extremely quiet.
Price
The accessories make the price worth it in my opinion.
Shipping
The enclosed key-puller worked great, and the whole process was very fast.
Packaging/appearance
Just keep them in the plastic baggy and put that and the cloth/cap remover in the bag.
Putting on the o-rings was super easy to do by hand.
Doesn't work well and scrapes the bottom of the keycap.
Everything was fine except the packaging was damaged (torn and squashed).
Competitiveness
It included all the things i needed for taking care and cleaning my keyboard at a resonable price.
I got these because i've a corsair k70 mk2 and i type a lot.
I have a blackwidow chroma (which is very loud and clicky) this helps suppress the sound a little, but not as much as i had hoped.
My late night typing away (even on less clicky mx browns) was disturbing the boss so i tried these out to reduce the noise.
