Pros & Cons
Pros
Don't forget to set it to the minimum setting before storing it. Accuracy calibration 4%. It only has engravings in ft-lb unit, which make it very clean to read. A calibration certificate is included.
The epauto torque wrench is a wonderful addition to any home auto-mechanic workshop. I work in the automotive field and have used both cheap torque wrenches and torque wrench that cost thousands from the expensive truck all mechanics love.
It has a center button to release sockets from the ratchet which is a plus. The wrench head holds the sockets securely in place for accurate readings.
Highlights
Quality
The adjustment is easy to set and appears to be laser etched on the tool, nice and deep.
I’m very happy with this great quality torque wrench and would definitely get it again.
This torque wrench is 16 1/2"l and has a 72 tooth gear.
After setting the torque you need, simply let the locking ring go and it snaps in position.
Price
For the price, this torque wrench is a great purchase.
This is a fantastic value for a torque wrench.
It would be fine for an amateur on a budget.
Not for the more finesse stuff at this price point.
Packaging/appearance
This torque wrench came packed in a nice blow molded case.
Competitiveness
I compared it to come brand name torque wrenches and it was 100% accurate.
It’s nicer than the harbor freight cheapie, similar to a mid line from husky.
This is a nice torque wrench, comparable with others i have used.
