The epicurean board is lightweight but hard and solid. Durable and knife glides across surface. The board is made with good quality material and very durable.

This board is a champ. The channel around the board catches liquids that run off, so no more mess all over the counter. Even though rather expensive, will continue to buy other sizes.

We added the drip catcher ones as it seemed we'd increased cutting stuff that drips & they work great for that. reversible with wide drip channel on one side.

Sturdiness and durability appear to be lacking. It was never exposed to heat and certainly not put into a dishwasher. When you put this in the dishwasher, the glue leaches out and coats other dishes.
