Its more of a paddle than a spoon theres only a minuscule indentation in it that wont hold any liquid

I like the angled turner better hence the lower rating

The handle is heat resistant up to 450 degrees or something so if you rest it on a hot pan it wont melt

Plus theyre totally dishwasher safe so they dont warp like wood tools would
