Pros & Cons
Pros
When i make a pizza, i sprinkle the peel liberally with corn meal. The peel is slightly rough and holds onto a minimum of flour well. Don't leave it inside the oven too long.
For a stronger handle, a riveted (double thick) handle is offered here on amazon.
Cons
This pizza peel emits a strong chemical odor when wet. If you like your pizza to smell and taste like epoxy resin, then this is the peel for you!
The board is wafer thin and flimsy, the front edge dipping about a half inch while putting the pizza in the oven. The material permeates deep into the board and stinks despite washing well. Even worse, the odor gets on the food!
Highlights
Quality
A few months ago i began purchasing different brand that no longer comes with the cardboard.
It came with the flat, same-as-the-board-itself thick handle (with the large loophole at the end).
The board itself is identical in size to my original, but the handle did not come with the hard rubber slip-on cover.

Peel is thin enough that you could also use it to remove pizza from oven but the peel will burn on the bottom where it touches pizza stone experience from ooni koda 16 which gets to 900f
