Pros

The build is incredibly solid. The keyboard is heavy and solidly built. It has a large knob. The knob is super convent. Nice and sleek and very heavy.

The shape, sound, and layout are absolutely perfect. It meets all his needs. I wish that this was my first keyboard, because it's a great starter keyboard!

Flamingo switches are really good. No rattle or clickiness. I like knobs so it’s fine. Once to lube the switches and re-lube the stabs they sound amazing. The gat pro yellows feel smooth and silky.

The sound and feel is *immaculate* -- really, it is just such a snappy switch. The silicone dampening makes a huge difference in sound with it or without. I was able to reprogram the click using the epomaker software.

Cons

They seem to insinuate that i would withhold items included.

Quality

The quality of this keyboard is awesome.

I played around with the rgb affects for a while, and was really impressed with the lighting.

The only quality concern is my whole board is shifted just barelyyyy to the left.

Saw another person with the same issue.

Packaging/appearance

So i ordered the switches separately, and put them into the k8 too.

Competitiveness

Coming from a $250 iquinix fn96, this competes very well for half the price.

Ordered the theory keycaps separately because the font looked better, but hated them.

I swapped them out for kailh box jades and pinks for ultimate clicky-ness.

The included switches were incredibly easy to remove though, unlike the kailh boxes.
