Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

Plent of room for a tablet, computer and other device items. Keyboard tray works well and fits an average keyboard and mouse with plenty of room. I have two 27” curved monitors so the extra width does make a difference for me.

Sitting is the new smoking, as they say. I love the keyboard try as it frees up so much space and helps me better with posture.

It's everything that was advertised and more. It's unbelievable that they could miss such an important thing. Couldn't be happier.

The desk raises and lowers smoothly and quietly. The mechanics is smooth and super quiet.

Desk is solid & sturdy.

Cons

This desk has a * collision sensor especially when lowering the desk. It keeps falling out. Slide plates design is not so great.

I have a scar on my foot and a gouge in my hardwood floor from where the keyboard tray has landed. Within 2 months of having this desk the keyboard drawer has become broken. The tray itself has a crack in it.

Very sturdy, well engineered with easy to follow instructions.

Assembly went smoothly but it turned out we completely missed one step.

It's not a 250 lb behemoth made of solid oak that will last me a lifetime.

Price

For the price (which i got it when it was discounted) i definitely think it's worth it.

I love it got a great deal on it on cyber monday .

I paid under $200 for a desk that far exceeded my expectations.

- my purchase included a $20 discount which made the price-point ($160 adjusted) worthwhile.

Shipping

If for some reason i had to ship one of those things, i would be contacting ergear to figure out how to do it.

Not having been in touch with ergear myself, i nonetheless have no doubt in my mind that they happily replaced your purchase wi...  Read More

Look, nothing is perfect, even with this level of packaging.

I'm here to talk about the packaging.

Competitiveness

Ikea can certainly learn a thing or two from whoever put this together.

The bad the only bad thing is that the keyboard tray has these strips inside with some kind of grease and what appears to be ball bearings

These strips have come out of both sides so the tray doesn’t slide in and out like it should
