The screws that came with it strip instantly, even with hand tightening. There’s no way to just attach it to the bar directly. I am unable to go to the store right now to find the right screws, so for now it's a paperweight.

Product works but very, very poorly so. Wish it was worth the time to send this worthless item back. I own 3 monitor mounts/poles from different manufacturers and this one was, by far, the worst!

Getting the monitor in the right position is a chore if not impossible. Even after tightening the bolt as much as i possibly could, the monitor sags a bit losing the original position i put it in. It is also extremely difficult to lock the tilt.
