Pros & Cons
Pros
I really like the mounting bracket that attaches to the monitor; it really makes mounting the monitor to the arm a breeze. Once the tension is adjusted correctly, pushing the monitor vertically is really smooth. You can adjust the monitor for the exac... Read More
The arm is very well made, of steel and plastic covers. While the arm itself isn't extremely sturdy, it's not significant enough to make you fear it will collapse. Great solid arm for a monitor with a ton of range of movement.
The thread is big enough and smooth enough that you can apply a lot of pressure without it jamming. They supply all the tools you need such as the big allen wrench to adjust the vertical holding pressure, so that the monitor floats just right.
Cons
Wire management is a nightmare once the arms are assembled and clamped to the desk. The max height the arms can extend do are a joke. Monitor mounting parts are not inside the package.

It has great extension capabilities and solid clamp .
Easy to set up - seems very durable.
This is a desk clamp arm, meaning, it clamps to the desk and does not have a stand or mount on a wall.
The lower arm cover is held on with screws which are nearly impossible to reinstall after cable installation.

Competitiveness
My home monitor has a “huanuo” arm mount similar to this, which was a bit more expensive- but works great.
The major difference between this monitor arm and the cheaper monitor arms is that this one comes with a gas spring.
Other coworkers bought different ones and ended up returning for this one.
