Pros & Cons

Pros

Both books are eric carle's trademark artwork paired with international poetry, rhymes, and sayings from famous and not so famous writers. My grandkids love the book. Eric carle is a master!

This is a similar idea to lois ehlert's lots of spots. Beautiful artwork paired with poetry from the likes of ogden nash, emily dickinson, rudyard kipling and many others.

A delightful way to introduce your children to poetry. Giraffe poem speaks to my son who looooves giraffes. While some of the poems are certainly at their language level, many are more advanced.

Price

Great value and one to return to again and again.

It's a small price to pay for what may become a real love and appreciation for poetry.

The binding is loosening and a few pages are torn, but i'll gladly spend another $22.

Shipping

This was exactly what i was hoping for and shipped quickly!

The book arrived quickly and in good shape.

Competitiveness

This is a similar idea to lois ehlert's lots of spots, with both the artwork and the poetry being a step up from ms ehlert's book.
