The slinky lasts a good while and doesn't gunk up as bad as other brands. Amazon offers these at $3. Installs them today.

Cons

Low f# has a * tinny rattle sound when played open. This is not typical of ernie ball quality. Beware buyers of this problem.

I like the quality of these brand of strings for both 6 and 12 stringed instruments.

Put these on my 7 string, 80-11, fat and bring tone, stoked.

I put it on my guitar about a month ago, just retuning it the other day and the lower g string (8) snapped off.

Eb strings are always great for the money !
