Pros & Cons
Pros
All very quickly. Nice sound breakage of #6 in first week. They are perfect, hoping they are durable and that will be the cherry on top.
Plus, these strings are fairly inexpensive, which seals the deal! They're the first silk-wound strings i've used and they have a very elastic, snappy feel and sound.
They pluck with a strong attack and a gentle warm tone. They are so mellow, silky (literally) and beautiful throughout. They have both warmth and a really nice shimmer.
Extremely happy when using for fingerpicking and lite strumming. They are much kinder to my fingertips and don't pinch my skin as hard.
Playing the guitar both unplugged and through an amp, the strings are definitely more mellow and laid back. Decided up pick up the acoustic guitar and learn some slack key after not having played in decades.
Highlights
Quality
These new strings sound beautifully and have a consistent quality of sound, no more clavichords on my guitar.
So much easier on the fingers and also deliver great tone quality!
High e string broke within a few min during stretching and tuning.
Unfortunately two strings broke within an hour of use.
Price
Plus, these strings are fairly inexpensive, which seals the deal!
Easy to play and a great price.
They're about 2/3rds of the price, at any rate.

Competitiveness
From the first strum, you can tell it requires less tension and the tone is actually better than the elixir for about half the price.
