Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons
The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

Durability of d'addarios with great sound at half the price. They make my nylon acoustic look way cooler. The value is surreal.

The black color contrasts nicely against clearer fingerboard woods like beech. The ball end make the set a breeze to install (no need to tie a knot) these strings look like the ones i used about 50 years ago in saigon vietnam.

These have the ball end so it doesn't slip out of the holes when tightening/tuning. Ball ends feel like cheating but they are quick and easy. They adjust quickly and stay in tune, and they are no squeaky.

Cons

The second set on my gianinni classical are now only 10 months old and already corroded. Never buying these again. Worth only about 1 buck per set, not that selling price. Avoid these duds.

These look nice and sound ok at first, but just fade away too quickly. Feel like a plastic noodle on the low end. Sorry ernie; just wasn't having a ball.

Bought these to replace strings on an inexpensive guitar.

Great strings at a great price, as are all of the strings made by ernie ball.

Paying $30 to have someone do this for you is either laziness, or you should buy a cheaper guitar if you’re that worried about ...  Read More

Surely you can afford $7 every 2-3 weeks and just get used to tuning them up before playing.
