Pros & Cons
Pros
Eb cobalt flats are very flexible. Good flatwound lows and adequate brightness. As a professional bassist coming from stainless steel roundwounds, these are the only flats i will use.
The b string is actually usable and has excellent tone with the rest of the set. These strings are like a well aged whiskey.
This gauge is perfect for a jazz bass or a p. Regardless, they feel odd but it’s not a game breaker. Of the heavier gauge and ad tension.
Cons
The g string snapped twice during tuning. I am no novice to stringing my bass.
There's already some gunk/corrosion all over these things and they feel chalky. They are not versatile, however.
Highlights
Quality
I installed them easily, and i the quality was just as great as ever.

Price
And since flats last longer, the higher price isn't too bad.
Shipping
The shipping label was placed on the pack of strings.
Competitiveness
These strings are pricey compared to round wound stainless steel or round wound nickel bass strings, but they last 3 times long... Read More
