Pros

The feel is surprisingly comfortable. They're also comfortable to play--my fingertips didn't get irritated or sore. They feel amazing, sound amazing the longer you have them on.

The tone is bright but not brassy. Since the strings have a nice weight to them, you get a clear bold sound. The sound is a little brighter than i expected, but it may be because i put them on a guitar given to bright sounds.

Ernie ball strings come with a guarantee that if your strings break or rust within the first 90 days, they will replace them. Maximum of 3 sets of string per customer per year.

These are light for certain, but give great sound on my little ovation. They hold their tuning pretty well once they've stretched, and they have a nice bright sound. I find them to be excellent, stay in tune and have exceptional tone.

Cons

String is an overpriced gimmick that has more loopholes than you can shake a stick at. They sound good at start but die down much faster than the elixer version of these.

The chart on the package indicates this paradigm set skews bright at the top end – and i found that’s the case.

Competitiveness

They sound great and last longer than the more expensive brands.

It really is quite a difference between these and standard (and cheaper) strings.

I started out with the other guys and tried ernie ball's, i probably won't go back.
