Quality
Overall the build quality is very good for a modern pedal, it has the look and feel of a well made 70's analog pedal.
Although i just received this pedal today i have hooked it up with my lap steel guitar and fell in love with the excellent performance.
There are concerns with the non-optical design, and i share that reservation, but i’ve had bad luck with my george dennis volume pedal.
(6) signal and power cabling, even with the board solutions out there, are a hassle.

The pedal has to respond fast and with repeatable results.

I like that you can adjust the minimum volume and also get a 20db boost.
This one is a must have, works like a champ.

When the pedal first arrieved it had some signal bleed at heel down position so i had to recalibrate it

An email to ernie ball customer service revealed that some of the mvps shipped with defective pots that were not calibrated correctly hence the volume bleed

But if you get one that doesnt mute completely at heel position return it and look for one that works correctly
