Pros & Cons
Pros
The thicker g and d strings hold tune when dropped much better than the standard 45 and 65 gauge strings. These are my go to strings for my bass, i play rock / hard rock and they provide the brightness i need out of my tone and have never let me down.... Read More
The feel on these strings is considerably soft and smooth. Helps me keep my fretting hand nice and relaxed. Smooth wrap at light tension precision tuning.
Cons
These are junk. Not only are they less slinky feeling than the drs (which are actually a thicker set of strings), but they sound totally dead from the start.
On a multi-scale bass it changes before it crosses the nut so the string sits too low and causes a lot of buzzing. It sounds like it is mounted on a different bass and its feel is flabby.
Highlights
Quality
Consistent quality, bright sounding, no excessive tension, no excessive fret wear, and long lasting.

You can break these in within 24 hours if you restring, play for an hour, then let them sit.
The bright fat clear tone i was looking for, i only hope it last a while.
