Pros

Micro taper switch gives the guitar or pedal steel player two distinct volume swell rates. Volume swell is smooth and accurate. Only thing that is likely to malfunction, or wear out, is the sting inside the volume pedal.

Cons

The volume pot is now bad, and it's small/mini volume pot. Mine is headed to the landfill. My vp jr was shipped untested and defective.

The pedal is not even throughout. The first half of pushing the volume pedal up is something like 0-10% volume and then it suddenly jumps up. The pedal acts exactly like a volume knob.

I am happy with the performance, durability and sound of this volume pedal and i am giving it an a+no battery required.

I tried to save a few dollars and bought a mostly plastic one with the initials of s and c, if you know what i mean.

For the price, absolutely nothing to complain about.

I have an older full-size ernie ball volume pedal and this one is definitely more pedal board friendly.
