Pros
Bi-metal thermostats, by their nature, kinda settle into their long term performance characteristics. I read online this normally is a thermostat sticking, so i order this part and watched a youtube video on how to replace it.
Cons
Poor quality. Only lasted for a few months then broke. I wish they had stated it was a generic part on their description. Spend a little more and get the oem part.
Still occasionally froze things inside. By hitting part of the housing near the thermostat, triggers the contacts and the refrigerator turns back on. Be careful not to * the long metal probe when attaching the tubing.

The old one was rapidly switching on and off creating major interference with tv radio and internet signals

The tube that comes on this one is just a protective sleeve to be discarded
