The two knobs on the ringlight control the brightness and the temperature of the light.
Competitiveness
The 18 inch diameter is way up at the higher end of ringlight sizes, which makes it great for portrait photography.
The remote control connected right away and works perfectly with my hauwei p10.

Now the legs on this initially look shakey but you just have to screw the one main leg tight then it is ok

The stand is perfectly adequate to support the light even though it looks a bit flimsy at first
