Pros & Cons
Pros
The double screen keeps out grounds while allowing the all-important oils to filter through. The gaskets that provide the seal around the circumference of the plunger and top are silicone. It pairs perfectly with my manual grinder that grinds the 20 g... Read More
Make a great cup of coffee with this travel coffee maker. Add hot water, place the filter plunger in the top of the “mug”, wait 4 minutes and then slowly push down on the plunger. Love the flavor and sediment-free cup. We like it better than our colem... Read More
Espro po makes good coffee. My only complaint is i wish it was larger. It’s just amazing.
Rugged and easily stowed away, this is a definite winner - especially, if you're backpacking. Perfect for backpacking trips to get the coffee made. Hydro flask used to be cheap with its packing materials in the past.
The coffee stays hot and the flavor remains consistent after each sip. The double strainer keeps the grinds off my taste buds.
Cons
This espro is basically a glorified thermos. When it's closed back up, the liquid drips down the outside of the mug. omg now the filter is welded to the housing. After two weeks when i push the plunger down it allows the ground to be force up the side... Read More
Highlights
Quality
Very easy to use and very good quality material.
Respect for such a well made designed and well made product.
Holds a hot temperature for over 7 hours and plunges down very easily.
This coffee maker does not leak, even at 35,000 feet.
Price
I tried a $25 version of this and the filter was inadequate and grounds came through into my beverage.
It’s a little pricey but worth every penny.
I wasn’t sure if this was going to be worth the price, but it’s amazing.
Shipping
I contacted the company and in 3 days they sent me a new press with no request to send the other one back.
Packaging/appearance
Same like others, i also received mine with dent at the bottom edge.
Hydro flask used to be cheap with its packing materials in the past but seems to have learned that a sturdy cardboard box is re... Read More
It also came pre dented so i don't have to worry about getting any more dents, i guess.
Competitiveness
We like it better than our coleman 8 cup drip coffee maker that sits on a propane stove.
I’ve included a pic of the hydro flask (& its box) i received yesterday for comparison.

I’ll be complaining directly to espro to say that that they need to provide better protection for its products because the customer cannot count on amazon workers doing it for them
