Pros

Practically every esr release furthers my confidence in their brand - and this is no exception. The build quality is solid, but is that worth hundreds more?

The keyboard connects via bluetooth and must be paired before the first use. Both the keyboard and the trackpad are very responsive and have a nice touch. The trackpad gestures are a great touch as well.

Keyboard case is well constructed and very heavy. It is heavier than i expected but it protects the ipad very well. This keyboard is literally better than the magic keyboard, it is a bit bulky but that is fine with me.

The keys have a satisfying click, akin to magic keyboards or logitech slims. Keys are great and tactile. The backlit keys provide a smooth typing experience.

One of the standout features of this case is its versatility. The minimalist design complements the ipad air's sleek aesthetics perfectly. The keyboard feels good to use and is responsive.

Cons

In practice, those advantages are literally outweighed by the big downside. It weighs 35 oz - over two pounds!

I have similar issues with the trackpad, as others had mentioned. The cursor randomly moves to different screen locations, no palm rejection whatsoever.
