The suction cap holds very well on the 'leathery' non-smooth panel of my car. Some say that it's until you reposition the cap, but i didn't do that. The sticky base and rigid arm holds up to bumpy roads.
Switching between portrait and landscape is easy. The only drawback is that the mount bounces a fair bit when the phone is on it.
Esr magnet is strong and holds the phone well. Works great honestly, very solid, i drive a tractor trailer and never has it fell off of the magnet, maintains it very well. I recommend having a magsafe halo lock case on your phone.
Cons
Even thought the magnet is strong, the charge isn't. I bough it twice thinking maybe it was defective. Suction cup is weak and won’t stay attached.

Even the step up so simple very intuitive use of packaging to help with alignment as well.
Competitiveness
I have another esr mount that holds similarly strong and have been on cross coast road trips.
I’ve tried a few different phone mounting options for the car but by far this has been the best.
Wish other companies had this kind of support.
I first saw a similar model on my friends car but not with the wireless charging option.

I took it off wiped the adhesive with water and restuck it

It uses a sticky pad to secure to any spot no concerns with it falling off

You do have to be careful of the type of case you are using for the magnetic to hold especially for the heavier iphone 15 pro max
