Pros
Once in the soft lined case, the tablet feels secure and protected. The case also holds the apple pencil securely in the correct position. The wrap around pencil flap is also great.
It's thin but not too thin, and lightweight enough to not add weight or bulkiness. Very elegant and minimalistic. Easy in and out if you want to move the ipad onto a keyboard folio.
Magnets are very strong and hold the ipad securely without slipping. The magnet back secures very well and the case is lighter than the esr case.
I think this is a genius solution and a win-win. Regardless i know this will be a little durable case i can use for the years to come. Great customer service.

Cons
When folded back to use, the cover hits the side of the ipad where the pencil goes and knocks it off easily. I wish there was an added magnet on the back of the case to keep the flap down, but sadly there isn't one and it just falls to the front.

I bought this as an alternative to apple's magnetic folio case, and it works fantastically well.
This folder by esr is in my opinion, an almost identical folder as the one sold by apple, but at a considerably lower price.

While the flap which latches to hold the cover closed makes it certain the cover won’t come open on its own it would be nice if there was a tab or something to separate the magnets easier so i don’t wear out the edge of the material with my fingernails

I do not have any problems with the flap it sticks to the back of the case so it doesn’t get in the way
