I agree with other reviewers that the shell portion of the case is a tight fit but because of the material used polycarbonate it likely has to be tight to ensure the ipad will not come loose

The inner and outer case materials appear to be glued together with some sort of additional material in the middle see picture i like the fact that the cover extends beyond the edges of the ipad but i worry how long the seam will last given the fact that these edges will be exposed to wear and tear when going intobeing taken out of a bag
