Pros

Essie base is the beginning of a great manicure. The quality of the product promotes longevity of nail color. With minimal touch ups and reapplication of top coat every other day, my manicure lasts for at least a full week.

I literally could do like a testimonial for their commercials or whatever, it’s that good. Together, they’re seriously like as great a duo as peanut butter and chocolate. The price here is better than at target and cvs, too!

It goes on very very smoothly. No peeling starting from the bed. It is a thin consistency, which makes it quick and easy to apply.

Cons

It is very watery and sticky. I'm pretty sure it's because this base coat never really dried. Some people do well with ethyl acetate, some do way better with butyl acete.

Using the essie base coat my manicure doesn't last at all. My nails are flaky and weak. Goodbye nail polish, i'm done with you.
