Pros & Cons
Pros
Great product. Better than pricier alternatives. Would gladly re-order this product without hesitation.
Used it to build racking. Works as mallet should no concerns. I use deadblow hammers when i'm assembling and disassembling items without marring them.
After buying this big boy, i honestly feel more confident in my persuasion of a part since this hammer has a good amount of traction on the face. It's nicely balanced and feels good in my grip.
Can really swing a * blow without tearing something up. Easily moved metal crossbeams without damaging the finish. Had lots of delivered impact without bouncing.
Cons
Estwing used to be great company. These are now outsourced to china and made of much lower quality materials. Very disappointing to see made in taiwan.
Highlights
Quality
I have been impressed with the quality and resilience of this dead-blow hammer.
Smaller head than all the other hemmers with the same weight.
Competitiveness
Hammer head lasts longer than other brands.
Years ago, i popped for an estwing framing hammer and it really opened my eyes about how much smoother a good hammer could be.

I was surprised that it was made in taiwan so i ran over to the shop to look at my brother’s he’s had for years and sure enough it was made in taiwan too so that eased my worries plus taiwan is better than china as far as quality goes
