Pros

What makes the deal sweeter is that i got it at a discount because it was an amazon 2nd. Still have it.

This 3lb sledge works great for splitting small kindling. It reinforces my belief that estwing is the best. Completely solid forged built with a nice absorbent handle.

My estwing hand ax is like 45-yrs old and has at least another 150-yrs left in it. Work at a ship yard building naval destroyers. Great value and reputation in estwing.

Use it all the time to smash rock. This tool fits that criteria.

Cons

The handle flashing is disappointing. Just thrown into carboard box with one blowup clear pillow inside.

I’m looking forward to many years of use from these made in usa products!

I rather not feel the impact and pay double for this one instead of basic estwing hammer.

Probably shouldn’t buy tools off of amazon.
