Pros
After doing some research i opted to try this wedge out. I am very happy to say it works exactly as advertised. It works really well and was reasonably priced.
Splits big 20” + knotted pine logs like butter. It works great splits large diameter logs easily. Couldn't have asked for a better splitter.
This estwing e-5 sure split works well, but it also depends on the type of tree and the moisture content. Can't wait to start ramming this thing in wood. My spouse cuts wood regularly to heat our home and shops.
Cons
For small - medium size logs i had much better success with an axe, or hitting a hatchet with a 5lb deadblow. This thing is as frustrating and disappointing as a bad marriage.

This wedge however has disappointed me in terms of quality.
It’s so sharp you can stab the log with only one hit you don’t need to tap it in.

Did exactly what i needed it forand was reasonably priced
Really, a great product worth several times its price.
I did not buy this on amazon as i found it at cabelas for $24.
I can see myself wearing this wedge out but at the same time for the price i can respect that.

I only split hardwood for my pizza oven amd in spite of how dry it is 1 log out of three will take several shots to budge

Pair this up with a small sledgehammer and in a maximum of 3 hits the log splits
