Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

The ergonomics are superb for a design this old. The craftsmanship is very good. The durability is great.

The stacked leather handle is just beautiful. Only they put 4 (four! Sticker goo on the metal.

It feathers well, chops well, splits well. The sharper the blade the less resistance, the less shock. Perfect for chopping up bod.

Cons

The look and craftsmanship are excellent but the utility is terrible. This thing is as crooked as can be, and lopsided also. I am dismayed at the very poor grinder shaping of the handles on both.

The biggest problem is just that it's too small to do the yardwork i need it for. There's no weight in the head so chopping is difficult. Sharpened it and rolled the edge again.
