I’ve had this product for about a week now and the black finish has stayed on it has kept its edge and is well made
Estwing has been providing quality products for decades.
And the bolts on the butt end of the handle have a ugly weld on them.
Not really a big issue because it was easily fixed but i expected a little better from estwing quality control.

My only complaint however would be that when they paint the metal of the hatchet it was smeared onto the handle some

The little blemishes are very easy to get over and if its a bother its nothing a littlely abrasive sandpaper wont fix with a little patients
