Quality

Best quality you'll get, don't try the others, try the one and only.

Very good tool, a little heavy for home use - get a smaller one, but made in usa!

If you want a good quality hammer that will last, spend the money and get a product you won't have to worry about.

Nothing says made in usa like nailing things with this bad boy.

Price

I will reach more for this hammer more times than one of my $300.

It’s just what you get when you want a good but inexpensive hammer.

It is not a stiletto, but it's a very good hammer for the money.

Shipping

Just what i ordered, shipping was as they said, i'm gonna order another one

Competitiveness

5 ounces (overall) more than the older 16 ounce model when i would expect 4 or more ounce difference.

I know that i could buy a 12 oz hammer made overseas for a lot less but a quality made in the usa hammer from estwing is special.

Ive long insisted on wood handled hammers because of the shock insulation

After my good vaughn was left by my son out in the rain for weeks and run over by a lawn mower and i looked at rehandling at least 12 for a rather poor hickory handle i decided to give this thing a try

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I must say it is obviously much sturdier than either a fiberglass or wooden handled hammer because the handle and head are forged from one continuous piece
