Pros

Bought this geological hammer from estwing because of past history with their hammers and camp axes. The estwing rock hammer is a generational gift in our family. Now we have a grandson, will, who received his estwing hammer this year at 8!

This fits the estwing eo-14p 14oz rock hammer w/orange grip. Seems very durable. Handle also has a few dents in it.

Quality

I can’t say enough regarding the quality of these tools.

I really like the quality of eastwing tools.

It is not as shock absorbing as the cheap version with the rubber handle.

I have others of the same brand and quality that are used.

Packaging/appearance

The packaging and effects of, not so thrilled.

All-in-all, great looking tool, i just think the packaging choice for items like this should be reevaluated.

The steel part of the hammer has blemishes as tools sometimes do, but because of the packaging it's hard to tell what happened there.

Competitiveness

I always wanted a estwing rock pick.

I won't hesitate to buy estwing products in the future.

I have tried nearly the entire estwing geological catalog.

Arrived in italy fron usa just tree days after ordained (!

This was sent in one of the thin white bubble lined packages

I noticed the corner was torn through and when i opened the package the plastic safety piece that is meant to keep the pointy end of the hammer less pointy was smashed and ultimately useless as it laid there at the bottom of the bag
