Pros

The vaughan hammer is very sturdy, with a comfortable grip. This one has a rubber handle, the one we had, had a leather handle.

With so many other companies sourcing their tools from other countries, it's nice to find a well made, quality tool. Hammer for heavy duty jobs.

The curved claw makes it general purpose. Good for most of your household projects. I love that the hammer is all one piece so no chance of the head flying off.

For the few hammer tasks i need as an urban apartment dweller, this hammer goes above and beyond. It is a great hammer and i will cherish it as a remembrance to the nail driver. Nail pulling is easy and the balance is perfect for job.

Cons

The handle is flaking bits of blue plastic everywhere for some reason. Really disappointing and a waste of my time.
