Pros & Cons
Pros
Shark's tooth is a patented hammertooth design that's supposed to make straightening 2x boards a breeze. The way lumber comes now you are always trying to straighten it with something. The claw of this hammer is splits 2x lumber with ease.
The one-piece forged construction is impressive, adding to the durability and longevity of the hammer. Perfect for dock building and framing. But for the full time framer this hammer is a must!
The vibration isn't bad and the metalwork is well-built. Swing is nice with the milled head, has a nice bite on the nails. The weighting is good front and back.
I use it for utility locating. This hammer is no bs and always gets the job done. The hammertooth really comes in handy!
Cons
The hammer i received twice is the old model that is very different looking than the one shown here. The blue finish is extremely delicate.
